Club Profile
Purpose:
Brighouse Badminton Club was formed in September 1973 and is a not for profit Community Organisation that actively promotes the development of Badminton within West Yorkshire. The club is Committed to maintaining and improving access to Badminton for the communities of Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford. The club participates in the Huddersfield and Bradford Leagues and is one of the few, if not the only, remaining clubs that was active in the Halifax league before it disbanded in 1999. The Club recognises the social value that playing badminton can bring to those who participate and how badminton can contribute towards bringing together people from a range of backgrounds, ages and cultures.
